“Healing at Peace Park” event set for Saturday morning

Hopkinsville native and entrepreneur Sherria Hester is inviting the community to a “Healing at Peace Park” event this Saturday morning.

According to a news release, Hester—the owner of The Surreal Experience, a special event, hospitality and promotion company, has partnered with Serving Souls, NGO, a non-profit organization out of Nashville, are partnering to bring this event to Hopkinsville.

On Saturday from 8 a.m until noon, Hester is hosting “Healing at Peace Park”, an outdoor event that is free to the public and will include free group fitness classes including yoga, Zumba and more. Free health screenings will be offered the Christian County Health Department and a variety of other giveaways, products and services will be available.

Hester also is a proud member of Serving Souls and takes great pride in returning to Hopkinsville to give back to the community that has a role in who she is today. Her goal is to promote the importance of self-care, physically and mentally, and to showcase the resources available to aid in self-care especially during a challenging past year or so.
