Zappe named WKU starting QB entering fall camp

Western Kentucky coach Tyson Helton announced today Bailey Zappe will be the starting quarterback entering fall camp. The transfer from Houston Baptist was college football’s leading quarterback in 2020, where in n only four games, the Victoria, Texas, native completed 141-of-215 passes for 1,833 yards, with 15 touchdowns and one interception. At 458.3 yards per game, Zappe’s average led all of college football.
