The Todd County School System has announced the hiring of Lynne-Alexzandra Carrington as the new assistant principal at Todd County Central High School.
Carrington has served as a sixth grade and seventh grade reading language arts teacher, an at-risk coordinator, and a student support coordinator throughout her 15 years at Kenwood Middle School in Clarksville. She completed that district’s Aspiring Administrators Academy and has been an educator since September 2003.
She has completed several graduate and post-graduate degrees and is currently enrolled at Austin Peay State University to obtain her doctorate in educational leadership.
Incoming principal Lee Quarles says, “Ms. Carrington has a record of creating strong partnerships with families and communities, which makes her a great selection for our community. She has a deep appreciation for teaching and learning and is a strong advocate for students.”
Carrington says, “I am excited for the new experience, and I look forward to getting to know students, families and staff and become a part of the TCCHS community.”
