The Hopkinsville Tigers of new coach Austin Knight finished seventh Friday at the Daviess County Invitational. The Tigers had a 363 team score with Will Binkley tying for fourth place with a three over 74. Daviess County won the team portion of the event with Madisonville’s Jackson Hill finishing as medalist, winning in a playoff.
University Heights opened its season at the Murray Invitational, finishing with a 367 team total. Evan Pyle was the low man for the Blazers firing an 83. UHA plays in the Madisonville Invitational today.
