A rear-end collision Thursday afternoon on East Ninth Street collected four vehicles and sent two people to the hospital.
It happened just before 5 p.m. at the South Virginia Street intersection, with the HPD report saying 24-year-old David Vance of Hopkinsville was stopped with traffic at the red light when he was rear-ended by a westbound automobile operated by 16-year-old Jaqueline Hernandez of Hopkinsville.
The collision pushed Vance into the rear of a car driven by 28-year-old Vatoria Riley of Hopkinsville and she was pushed into the rear of a stopped car operated by 65-year-old Barbara Mingle of Pembroke.
Riley and her nine-year-old male passenger were both taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
