An arrest warrant for felony assault was served Thursday night against a Hopkinsville man.
It alleges that on June 3, a woman knocked on the door of 23-year-old Antonious Settles to ask about a charge on her EBT card.
An argument ensued when Settles answered the door and he allegedly pointed a revolver at the woman and hit her on the head with the gun.
Police say the victim had bleeding on the side of the head and ear and she required treatment by EMS.
Settles is charged with second-degree assault and first-degree wanton endangerment.
