A trial date was set Wednesday morning for the suspect accused of shooting a woman on Kenwood Drive in March of this year.
Princeton attorney Jarrod Jackson represents 36-year-old Shequita Buckner and told Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Boling that they aren’t accepting a plea offer he recently submitted.
Circuit Judge John Atkins set the trial for her first-degree assault charge for November 22.
Buckner allegedly shot 36-year old Kim Harrell in the arm during an altercation on Kenwood Drive on the morning of March 22. Harrell required treatment at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
