A Murray man was injured in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Calloway County.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office investigated and determined 56-year-old Russell Taylor of Murray was northbound on Todd Road about 7:45 a.m. when he said he swerved to avoid striking a deer.
Taylor’s vehicle went off the roadway and struck a tree and he had to be taken by EMS to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
