After a hiatus during the pandemic, Hopkinsville’s curbside recycling program will resume Monday.
For a cost of $5.50 per month, residential customers receive their own personal recycling containers and weekly service on regular garbage collection days.
Customers who participated in the program prior to the shutdown will be automatically re-enrolled and new customers can sign up by going to hoptown.org/recycle or by calling 270-887-6245.
Acceptable curbside recycling items include plastics, metals, many paper products, aluminum cans, tin cans, newspapers, office paper, corrugated cardboard, fiber board, magazines, catalogs, junk mail, and telephone books.
