The Tennessee Titans signed defensive end John Simon to a one-year deal. The 30-year-old Simon had two sacks and 53 tackles last season with the New England Patriots. Tennessee also waived outside linebacker Tuzar Skipper.
Former Georgia linebacker Monty Rice has signed his rookie deal with the Tennessee Titans. The third-round draft pick was the final rookie to sign from the Titans’ 2021 draft class. Rice was a finalist for the 2020 Butkus Award, starting eight games for Georgia in 2020. He will compete for reps at inside linebacker for Tennessee. Titans training camp starts on Wednesday.
