The Nashville Predators announced the signing of defenseman Frederic Allard to a one year contract today. The deal will pay Allard $750-thousand at the NHL level and $70-thousand at the American Hockey League level for the upcoming season. Allard was drafted by the Preds in the third round of the 2016 NHL draft.
