An Owensboro man was killed in a head-on collision Saturday afternoon in Henderson County.
Kentucky State Police say 73-year old David Crabtree of Owensboro was westbound on US 60 at about 1 p.m. when for unknown reasons he crossed the center line and collided with an eastbound automobile operated by 19-year old Elizabeth Mayfield of Spotsville.
Crabtree was pronounced dead at the scene and Mayfield was not injured.
Troopers believe both drivers had been wearing their seat belt.
