A shots fired investigation Friday night on Holiday Park Drive led to the arrest of a woman for wanton endangerment.
An arrest citation for 26-year old Taja Butler of Hopkinsville says she admitted to firing a gun at the ground about 7 p.m. in the 600 block of Holiday Park.
She said her sister banged on her door, then damaged her window and refused to leave when asked to depart. Butler said she went on the porch with the gun and fired into the ground “caddy-corner” from her sister when her sister began walking fast toward her.
No one was injured and Butler is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.
