The Seattle Kraken picked 30 players from 30 of the league’s teams in the Expansion Draft on Wednesday. Among the selections was Nashville Predator center Calle Järnkrok. Jarnkrok had been with Nashville for eight seasons. The 29-year-old finished with 28 points last season.
The NHL is releasing its schedule for the 2021-22 season today. The league plans to play a full 82-game slate, starting in October and ending in April. Due to COVID-19, the NHL played a shortened 56-game schedule this season. The league also plans to return to its previous divisional alignment and have teams play every other team at least twice.
