The Hoptown Hoppers held on for a 6-5 win over the Fulton Railroaders last night at Colonel Field. Fulton took a 2-0 lead in the first inning, but the Hoppers scored four times in the home second thanks to a three run double by BJ Banyon. Landon Choboy would add a two run home run in the fifth to increase the lead to 6-2 before Fulton scored three times in the 7th to pull within a run. Landon Choboy went 4-5 and just missed the cycle while Grant Golomb in relief of starter Tyler McLaren got the pitching win and Price Watson his first save. The Hoppers are now 19-16 and host South Division leader Full Count at 6:30 this evening with pregame at 6:15 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and online at whopam.com.
