A Code Orange Air Quality Alert is in effect until midnight for Christian, Trigg, Montgomery, Stewart and Robertson counties as winds aloft bring smoke to our region from wildfires in the western United States.
The Tennessee Department of Environment says while the general public is not likely to be affected, but active children and adults, and people with a respiratory disease such as Asthma, should limit prolonged outdoor exertion.
