Hopkinsville police are investigating after a teen was shot Thursday evening on South Coleman Street.
It happened about 6:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Coleman and HPD says the 17-year-old male was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and then flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the lower left leg.
The injuries are listed as serious in nature on the report and no suspects are named.
