The Christian County Ag. Extension Foundation has been awarded approximately $15,000 in funds to go towards the construction of a kitchen at the Ag. Expo Center.
According to a news release, the funds are from the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board as part of their initiative for agricultural diversification and rural development. Christian County will receive $15,000 for a commercial kitchen to provide a space for startup businesses, non-profit groups, and education classes at the new Ag. Expo.
