The Hopkinsville Police Department has charged several local men with engaging in organized crime and are seeking further suspects in the investigation.
According to a post from Police Chief Clayton Sumner, he says the investigation stems from an increase in shooting incidents in the community that began in 2019—detectives have investigated the incidents for the last year and half and have now charged multiple with engaging in organized crime criminal syndicate, which is a felony. Officers have reportedly identified a group known as FSG or “Face Shot Gang” as being responsible for dozens of separate shooting incidents in the community
Those individuals indicted include Tyreese Hollowell, Isaiah Henderson, Jayden Weaver and Tyrell Bateman. Police continue to seek Antoniyon Cayce, Emonie Evans and Jacquez Redd.
They are asking for the public’s help on the whereabouts of those individuals, and anyone with information is asked to call the Hopkinsville Police Department at 270-890-1300.
