K-105 in Leitchfield reports Grayson County has hired the state’s winningest coach-Penny Reece-to take over the Lady Cougar softball program. Reece became the winningest coach in KHSAA softball history in May while head coach at Meade County. She will begin the 2022 season with 680 wins. While at Greenwood, Reece was named state coach of the year six times, won three state titles, 11 4th region championships and 16 14th district titles. Reece inherits a Grayson County program that was 7-26 last season.
