Two people were injured and traffic was brought to a halt when a tanker truck hauling ethanol overturned Tuesday morning on KY 115 north of St. Elmo.

It happened about 11:15 a.m. near Long Lane and Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Miller says the truck had been headed south when it went off the side of the road and overturned, causing some ethanol to spill.

Both occupants were taken by EMS to Tennova Health for non-life-threatening injuries.

Pembroke-Oak Grove Road is closed between Anderson Road and Barkers Mill Road and the closure could last several hours.
