Mancell Elam to serve as CCPS District Diversity Administrator

Christian County Public Schools has selected Mancell Elam to serve as the District Diversity Administrator, a position that officials call vital for the advancement of students.

According to a news release, Elam returns to CCPS after serving as a principal in Fulton Independent Schools—he previously taught 11 years in Christian County Public Schools, with his previous position as Assistant Principal at Hopkinsville High School in 2018. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Murray State University, along with multiple Master’s Degrees from Murray State, Bethel College, the University of the Cumberlands along with a Rank One standing.

Elam says, “I am grateful for the opportunity to be back with CCPS. I look forward to working with students, staff, and our community.”

He is married to Freedom Elementary School Principal Renisha Elam and they have two children.
