U.S. Senator Rand Paul says it’s important to be clear on where exactly the coronavirus pandemic originated and that there should be international consequences for China if the virus escaped from a lab in Wuhan.
The Republican from Bowling Green says research of deadly viruses that are manipulated by humans is a practice he believes is too dangerous to be justified by whatever can be learned from it and says the world has to determine if that’s how the pandemic began.
He says there should be international consequences for China if it’s determined the virus did escape from the lab.
Senator Paul made the comments during a recent interview with WHOP News.
