Residents of the west side of Hopkinsville are reminded of a scheduled power outage Tuesday night to allow Hopkinsville Electric System to perform necessary maintenance work.
The outage will begin just before midnight, is expected to last about an hour and a half and will include the Indian Hills, Donna Drive, Deepwood, Cox Mill Estates, South Main Street, North Drive and Sanderson Drive areas.
HES says it regrets the inconvenience caused by this outage, but it is necessary to perform system maintenance to the distribution system in the affected area.
Residents may want to cool their houses more than normal before the outage occurs.
