The Hoptown Hoppers spotted the Franklin Duelers a 6-0 lead but fell 15-10 Friday night at Colonel Field. Three Hoppers-JoJo Cruz, Alex Gonzales and Riley Garczynski each had three hits, with Gonzales hitting a home run. Cam Thompson, BJ Banyon, Nico Montes and Landon Choboy each had a pair of hits. Starter Tyler McLaren took the pitching loss for Hoptown, now 11-11 on the season. The Hoppers are back in action tonight at Fulton.
Elsewhere in the OVL Friday night: Muhlenberg County doubled up Dubois County 6-3, Madisonville downed Henderson 3-1, Paducah routed Owensboro 11-1 in 7 innings.
