The Christian County Public School System is in great need of bus drivers for the upcoming school year and they are putting out the call for those interested in employment.
Assistant Superintendent Josh Hunt says there is a shortage of bus drivers across the nation, not just Christian County, and last year they had many teachers and staff that stepped up to meet that need.
He says they would be glad to speak to someone who is seeking employment, saying the job is flexible with generous benefits, and they will train you.
Hunt says no experience as a bus driver is required to apply, and he encouraged those interested to contact the school system for more information.
