The Hoptown Hoppers ended a three game losing streak with a 12-6 win over Owensboro last night at Colonel Field. The Hoppers scored 10 times in the first inning-including a solo home run by Cam Thompson, a three run double from Zayd Brannigan and a three run homer from Jake Parr-who went 4-5 at the plate. Thompson and Tanner Holliman also chipped in two hits each with Bracken Rice in relief getting the pitching win.
The Hoppers are now 11-10 and are back in action Wednesday night hosting Muhlenberg County at 6:30, with pregame at 6:15 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and whopam.com.
