Mississippi State got a walk off single from Tanner Leggett in the bottom of the 9th in defeating Texas 4-3 Saturday night at the College World Series in Omaha. The Bulldogs improve to 47-18 and will meet Vanderbilt in the championship series beginning Monday night.
Earlier on Saturday, the Commodores advanced to the championship series after NC State was removed from the CWS due to Covid protocols. Vanderbilt brings a 48=16 record into Monday night’s game.
