It’s Faith and Family Day at WKSF

It’s Faith and Family Day at the Western Kentucky State Fair with a full slate of activities on the schedule.

Tony Meacham of the executive board says 7,681 people were at the fair Saturday night, one of the highest single-day totals in many years.

Youth pageants are being held in the air-conditioned convention center beginning at 1 and gates open to the fair at 2. Rides open at 3 and anyone with a church bulletin can get into the fair and ride rides for free from 3 until 5.

Doris Ann Russell says there will be gospel music and a service at 6:30 in the convention center.

There will be unlimited rides with a $20 arm band after 5.

The antique tractor pulls will commence at 3 in the grandstand and there will be live gospel music in the convention center beginning at 6:30.
