A teen was critically injured in an apparent accidental shooting incident early Thursday morning on Plum Street.
Christian County sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in the 100 block of Plum Street about 4:30 a.m. regarding a 15-year old male with a gunshot wound to his head, according to Deputy Chris Miller.
The male was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with critical injuries and it was expected that he would be transferred by helicopter to a Nashville hospital for further treatment.
Deputy Miller says the shooting appears to be accidental in nature at this time and it remains under investigation.
