The Hoptown Hoppers defeated the Owensboro Riverdawgs 6-2 in Owensboro last night. Jake Parr was the only Hopper with a multi-hit night, going 2-4 with a double. Starting pitcher Drew Leach went five innings for his first win of the season, allowing a run on two hits and striking out four, with Chase Gruno getting his fourth save of the season. The Hoppers are now 10-7 as they begin a two game home stand hosting the Fulton Railroaders tonight at Christian County’s Colonel Field.
