No injuries after shots fired into Highpoint Drive home, named suspect sought

No one was injured when shots were fired into a home on Highpoint Drive Wednesday morning and a named suspect is sought.

An 18-year old male and a 17-year old female were inside the home in the 500 block of Highpoint just before 9 a.m. when multiple shots were fired into the residence.

The Hopkinsville police report says the home was damaged and multiple shell casings were located in the driveway and elsewhere.

HPD is asking for the public’s help to locate 27-year old Joshua Owens, who is sought on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment and attempted first-degree assault. He fled the scene in a gray-colored Chevy HHR.
