A woman was hurt in a single-vehicle crash in Madisonville Monday when her vehicle left the road and struck a tree.
According to a news release from the Madisonville Police Department, a vehicle operated by 57-year old Linda Hodges of Madisonville was heading north on Whittington Drive when her tires dropped off the right side of the roadway for an unknown reason. She over corrected and went off the opposite side of the road, where the vehicle struck a tree and came to stop.
Hodges sustained injuries to her neck, back and arm—she was taken to Baptist Health Madisonville for treatment.
