Toddler found in Logan County pool dies from injuries

The toddler found unresponsive in the bottom of a swimming pool last week in Logan County has died from his injuries.

An obituary for 3-year old Bobby John Escue says he died Friday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office says Escue was found in the bottom of a family pool about 6:30 p.m. on June 14 at a home in the 6000 block of Lewisburg Road.

The obituary from Price Funeral Home says the boy loved Mickey Mouse, loved playing with his parents and brothers and that he played often on his swing set.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with burial to follow in Lewisburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
