Anyone planning on getting on the water for Father’s Day should be prepared for choppy conditions, as a Lake Wind Advisory has been issued from noon until 8 p.m. for all of Western Kentucky.
The National Weather Service in Paducah says sustained southwest winds of 15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph could create hazardous conditions for small craft.
Strongest winds are expected in the mid-to-late afternoon hours.
