Quarterfinal play at the KHSAA State Tournament Friday saw 3rd region winner Daviess County double up Pendleton County 8-4 and 4th region winner Warren East lost to Green County 7-5 in 8 innings. Other quarterfinal games saw Butler defeat Lafayette 7-4 and Lewis County topped Boyle County 6-2.
Semifinal Saturday will have Lewis County meeting Daviess County at 10 am at John Cropp Stadium on the UK campus with Butler facing Green County at 1 pm. The winners will meet Sunday afternoon at 1 pm for the state championship.
