A high-speed pursuit of a vehicle on the Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County Wednesday night ended with the arrest of the driver.
Deputy John Quarles attempted to stop 23-year old Alex Moore of Fort Benning, Georgia for speeding and a news release says he refused to stop and led deputies on a six-mile pursuit as he reached speeds up to 127 mph.
Police say Moore showed signs of being impaired and he had two passengers.
Moore was arrested and charged with DUI, fleeing or evading arrest, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, speeding and reckless driving.
