Clarksville police are investigating after a person was shot late Tuesday night in the area of Power and Walnut Streets.
Sgt. Charles Gill says officers responded to that location just before midnight and found the victim, who had to be transported to a Nashville hospital with a gunshot wound.
The victim’s name has not been released and there was no update provided on their condition.
Police say it appears to have been an isolated incident with an intended target and anyone with information can call Clarksville Crime Stoppers at 931-645-TIPS.
