Toddler found in Logan County pool in critical condition at Nashville hospital

A toddler is in critical condition at a Nashville hospital after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool Monday night in Logan County.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office and EMS responded to the 6000 block of Lewisburg Road just before 6:30 p.m. after receiving a call that a three-year old was found in the bottom of a family pool unresponsive and not breathing.

CPR was performed and the child was transported to Logan Memorial Hospital, where life-saving measures were performed and the child was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.

The name of the boy has not been released.
