Pennyroyal Hospice to host ‘Kamp Sunrise’ for children grieving a loss

After last year’s event was canceled by the pandemic, Pennyroyal Hospice is set to host “Kamp Sunrise” for local children who are grieving a loss later this month.

It will be Thursday, June 24 from 8:30 until 4:30 at Living Hope Baptist Church on Eagle Way Bypass and organizer Kim Baggett says it allows children between the ages of 6 and 17 who are grieving the death of a loved one to come together for a day of fun and reflection.

There will be all types of therapeutic activities offered throughout the day.

It doesn’t cost anything for children to attend, but registration concludes at the end of this week.

You can call Pennyroyal Hospice at 270-885-6428 to register and the registration form is also available at pennyroyalhospice.com.
