Louisville quarterback Luke McCaffrey has entered the transfer portal. Coach Scott Satterfield said in an interview Wednesday that McCaffrey participated in a few offseason workouts last week before departing the program. McCaffrey transferred to U of L from Nebraska four months ago.

Tennessee athletic director Danny White announced a 500 million dollar fundraising campaign for the Volunteers’ athletic department. It’s called the “My All” campaign and its goal is to provide the best resources and overall experience to the school’s student-athletes. About 200 million had already been committed before yesterday’s announcement.
NFL
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is ready to go if the team calls upon him to start Week One. The team’s starting quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, remains a holdout during mandatory minicamp. All eyes have been on Green Bay this offseason as a rift continues to unfold between the Packers and Rodgers.
The quarterback has been on the record that his issue is not with, who the Packers drafted in the first round in 2020, but rather the team’s organizational philosophy. Love says things are fine between he and Rodgers.
Golf
The PGA Tour is making its final stop before the U.S. Open this week in Ridgeland, South Carolina at the Palmetto Championship at Congaree. The world’s number one player, Dustin Johnson, will be looking to round his game into form after struggling most of 2021 after experiencing knee discomfort. Brooks Koepka will also be looking to fine tune his play ahead of the Tour’s third major of the season next week at Torrey Pines. Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker and Kentucky native JB Holmes are in the field.
Princeton’s Emma Talley is in the field for the LPGA Mediheal Championship which begins today in Daly City, CA.
