Ky. adds 289 COVID cases, positivity rate at 2.08 percent

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear reported 289 new cases COVID-19 Thursday, and the positivity rate continues to decrease.

That rate is now at 2.08 percent—there were 17 newly reported deaths, putting the death toll since the pandemic began in the Commonwealth at 7,138.  On the state incidence rate map, Christian, Todd and Trigg counties are listed as ‘yellow’.

There are currently 275 Kentuckians in the hospital with COVID-19, 78 in the ICU and 39 on a ventilator.
