Horse trainer Bob Baffert and the owners of Medina Spirit have filed a lawsuit against Kentucky Racing officials. They want a temporary injunction and custody of remaining urine samples to prove the steroids found in Medina Spirit’s system did not come from an injection. Medina Spirit won the Kentucky Derby, but the result is in question after the horse failed a drug test after the race.
