Lyon County won its first 2nd region title with a 6-0 shutout of Henderson County last night. Jackson Shoulders had a four hit shutout and hit a home run as the Lyons scored five times in the third inning to get the win. Lyon County heads to semi state play at WKU this weekend with a record of 28-4 and will meet Owensboro Catholic of the 3rd region on Saturday.
Preston Chaudoin, Zach Moss and Logan Durst of Hopkinsville were named to the All 2nd Region team along with Elijah Underhill of Christian County.
