Patrick Cantlay hit a par putt in a playoff to secure victory at the PGA Tour’s Memorial Tournament on Sunday in Dublin, Ohio. Cantlay and Collin Morikawa went from down six strokes to tied for the lead Sunday morning after Jon Rahm, the tournament’s leader, was withdrawn after testing positive for COVID. The suddenly new co-leaders shot matching one-under 71s in the fourth round to finish at 13-under. Scottie Scheffler finished two-strokes back at 11-under, while Louisville area native Justin Thomas tied for 42nd at three over.

Stephen Ames at 12 under was a one stroke winner over Mike Weir at the PGA Tour Champions Principal Charity Classic in Des Moines, IA. Franklin’s Kenny Perry tied for 15th at seven under par.

Yuka Saso defeated Nasa Hataoka on the third playoff hole to win the US Women’s Open Sunday at the Olympic Club in San Francisco. Both finished regulation four under par. American Lexi Thompson was third at three under par while American Megan Khang tied for fourth at two under par.
