A Hopkinsville man facing charges of felony auto theft and fourth-degree assault following a disturbance on Friday.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, officers responded to a residence on Short Bethel Street for reports of a disturbance around 10:15 p.m. Contact was made with the victim, who told police that 36-year old Deanton Greenwade of Hopkinsville had assaulted her and then stolen her vehicle.
The victim reportedly had visible injuries to her arm and face. Greenwade was located Sunday and arrested. He was lodged in the Christian County Jail and charged with felony theft by unlawful taking of a vehicle and fourth-degree assault.
