Vanderbilt opened regional play with 10-0 win over Presbyterian and Georgia Tech won the other game over Indiana State 7-6. Presbyterian and Indiana State play an elimination game at Hawkins Field at 1 pm Saturday with Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech playing at 6 pm.
Tennessee opened its regional with a 9-8 win over Wright State thanks to a walk off grand slam by Drew Gilbert. Liberty defeated Duke 11-6 in the other game. The Vols face Liberty at 5 pm today with Duke meeting Wright State at 11 am in an elimination game.
