Ky. adds 445 new COVID cases, four deaths

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear reported 445 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday and Christian County is slowly increasing its vaccination rate.

Along with the new cases there were four new COVID-19 related deaths in the state, putting the death toll at 7.071.  The positivity rate is sitting at 2.77 percent, a slight increase.  Christian County remains in the bottom five of counties for vaccination rate, but now claims 19 percent, an increase compared to recent numbers.

There are currently 307 individuals in the hospital with coronavirus, 106 in the ICU and 68 on a ventilator.
