Country music great Travis Tritt will headline this year’s Hopkinsville Summer Salute.
Tritt is well known for dozens of hits, including “Here’s a Quarter;” “Anymore,” “It’s a Great Day to Be Alive;” and “Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde.”
He will perform Saturday, August 28 at about 8:30 p.m. in front of the Christian County Justice Center.
Two up-and-comers, Olivia Faye and Kyle Daniel, will also perform at the free concert that’s sure to draw a very large crowd.
Parks and Recreation Superintendent Tab Brockman is quoted in a news release saying, “Hopkinsville’s biggest party of the summer is returning in a big way, and we could not be more excited to welcome Travis Tritt to Hoptown this August. During his illustrious career, Mr. Tritt has become of the icons of country music and we have no doubt he will put on the biggest show in the history of Summer Salute.”
