Three Christian County Public School System students have received college scholarships for their excellence in music.
A news release from the district says Christian County High School Colonel Band member Ashley Phan has accepted a full scholarship to Austin Peay State University to study music, while Hopkinsville High School Tiger Band member Jared Chance-Martin received a full scholarship to Murray State University to also study music.
Colonel Band member Austin Wright has been awarded a scholarship package to study music at Murray State.
